How an installation is planned
The useful details are the room sizes, what is on the floor now, and the product you want installed. A floating floor needs expansion space at the walls. Baseboards are sometimes removed and put back, which can be included when the scope says so, or paired with baseboard installation if the trim is being replaced.
An estimate follows the product, the rooms, and the condition of the floor underneath.
The existing floor has to be suitable
Soft spots, structural subfloor replacement, and concrete reconstruction are outside this service. If the surface is not ready for a floating floor or a sheet, the request should say so. Tile floors are covered on the tile installation page, not as a vinyl product.

Can luxury vinyl plank go over an existing floor?
Often, when that floor is flat, dry, and within the product's own instructions. The request should describe what is down now.
Do you publish a price per square foot?
No. A flooring estimate is written for the rooms and the product, after the scope is clear.
Is hardwood or carpet part of this service?
No. The installation is laminate, vinyl sheet, LVP, and LVT.
What if the baseboards need to come off?
Say so in the request. Removing and reinstalling trim, or replacing it, can be added to the scope.
